    Who are we? – 2006 BYU MBA women (by class)
    Name: “Eva” – (Economic Value Added) – provisional name to be solidified by end of semester http://byueva.com/default.aspx
    Whom do we help? By creating networks we will help women? Microcredit Institutions, schools, health organizations?
    How? Partnering with NGO’s – to be determined

    Objectives:
    1. Help others
    2. Connect MBA women
    3. Promoting microfinance awareness through our networks

    Mission:
    To be more concretely determined and drafts written by each member for next meeting

    Criteria for project/NGO selection:
    Repayment
    Overhead
    Affiliation with BYU

    Considerations:
    - Levels of Involvement – limited to 2006 MBA women but facilitate project building among other interested parties (primarily 1st year women)
    - Help others start their own
    - Specifically mentor incoming group – by invitation/optional

    Monica and Stacy gave an overview and report on their experience at the 1st Annual Thunderbird Microcredit Conference in Phoenix. Announced and invited all to BYU CESR conference this weekend.

    Possible partners for the first project:
    Daniely: Incentivo (Brazil) – affiliated with CIS international student fund
    Questions: How long have they been around – 2 years, how are they doing on repayment?

    Stacy Giauque:
    Ouelessebougou-Utah Alliance Mali
    Foundation for Aminata Sow Fall – Senegal – education and literacy for a village in Northern Senegal

    Goals for our next meeting on Tuesday March 28:
    - Draft a underlying values, mission, including a Mission Statement for our next meeting
    - Next meeting we will be voting on the name of our organization – please come prepared to make additional suggestions
    - Discussion about t-shirt and logo – Monica and Ananda
